Lea Sauls, Executive Director
​As a tennis professional, Lea has been a nationally ranked player, a two time Texas Sectionals champion and has been a University of Texas (UT) women's assistant tennis coach for 5 years, winning the 1993 National Championship and reaching 3 Final Four finishes.
Having taught at Caswell for many years, Lea considers it his second home. His extensive experience, his passion for tennis, and his eagerness for the Center to thrive make for a winning combination!

Naya Tillitt, Manager

Naya is a former NCAA Division I tennis player with extensive experience in tennis club management and coaching. She recently earned her bachelor's degree in Strategic Communication and is now pursuing a master's in Advertising at The University of Texas at Austin. Before joining Caswell, Naya managed a public tennis facility in Central Texas and coached at a country club in Palm Desert, California.
She is dedicated to fostering an inclusive atmosphere where players of all ages and skill levels can enjoy tennis, enhance their skills, and feel at home on the court.

Jimmy McCormick, Junior Program Director
Jimmy grew up in San Antonio, Texas, where he discovered his love for tennis at an early age. He went on to excel at the collegiate level, earning impressive national rankings: NJCAA #43 in singles, #14 in doubles, and NAIA #34 in doubles. With over a decade of coaching experience—more than eight of those years as a full-time tennis professional—Jimmy has dedicated himself to nurturing players of all ages and skill levels.
For the past several years, he has been coaching in Connecticut, serving as both Head Professional and Director of Junior Programming. Renowned for his vibrant energy and enthusiastic coaching style, Jimmy fosters a fun and positive environment that keeps players engaged while encouraging them to push their limits. His classes seamlessly blend technical instruction with strategic insights, all delivered at a fast pace, ensuring every session is both productive and enjoyable.
Whether working with beginners or advanced athletes, Jimmy’s mission is to help each student build confidence, enhance their skills, and most importantly, have a fantastic time on the court!

Andy Swortfiguer is a long time Austin resident and has been teaching at Caswell since 2007. With over 24 years experience, Andy is well known as an ambidextrous professional who works with players of all ages & levels. In recent years he’s received CATA's "Tennis Pro of the Year " and "Growing the Game” Awards.
Andy played for Ferris State University and pioneered their Professional Tennis Management & Marketing Program. He held National & World Rankings from 1996-2003, while playing on The United States Padel Team.
Using humor and an engaging hands-on style allows Andy to make tennis easy and fun to learn!

Oliver was raised in Siracusa, Italy. where he trained and competed on the clay courts of nationally recognized Italian academies. At seventeen, he moved to Texas and joined Austin High School’s varsity team, where he won playoff tournaments and competed in the highest division at the district, regional, and state levels.

Oliver brings a rich international background to his coaching. His style draws from the precision and discipline of Italian tennis and the competitiveness and intensity of the American game. He believes growth on the court comes from balancing strong technical foundations, match repetitions, and an environment where players feel free to enjoy the sport.
What Oliver enjoys most about coaching is building rapport with players of all levels and
discovering what motivates them. Whether refining technique, strategizing points, or jumping into live rallies and games, he’s committed to making every session energetic, challenging, and fun.

Jonathan Gilmore

Jonathan is a USRSA Certified Master Racquet Technician and head of stringing and racquet customization at Caswell Tennis Center. A former Virginia state singles champion and doubles finalist, he has strung racquets professionally at the ATX Open and other satellite tournaments. He has been part of the Caswell team since 2021.
Jonathan is also a familiar face on the courts at Caswell. As an active member of the center's player community, he plays every day and is regularly seen on court with fellow members. His daily presence at Caswell speaks to both his passion for tennis and his close connection to the players and community he serves.
